About Me
MY EXPERIENCE
I am a licensed mental health clinician with over 25 years of experience working with individuals and families in a variety of clinical and educational settings. I began my own practice in 2018.
I earned my graduate degrees (MA & EdM) in Psychological Counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University. I completed a post-Master’s training program in Clinical Approaches to the Addictions at New York University’s Silver School of Social Work. I have advanced training in trauma-informed therapy, ADHD/Executive Functioning and Substance Use Disorders, Compulsivity/Process Addictions and Gambling/Gaming Disorders. I am an Accredited Clinical Supervisor for NJ clinicians who are pursuing licensure. I have served as a Adjunct Professor in Psychology (Caldwell University). I regularly provide in-service trainings for school counselors and educators on a variety of mental health topics as well as parent education seminars.
In addition to my work as a counselor & psychotherapist, I have extensive experience working as a mental health specialist in educational settings. This has provided me with unique lens on the particular stressors that are present for today’s youth & their families - challenges which may impact the development of healthy coping skills, identity formation and relational development.
My areas of specialization include:
